Privacy policy

Before launch: the trading entity and registered address below still need to be
completed, and this policy must be checked against the analytics and email tools
actually in use at launch. They are marked TO BE COMPLETED.

This policy covers upandbooked.com and the services provided by Up & Booked, a
trading name of TO BE COMPLETED.

What this site collects

Nothing, until you send it. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party
marketing pixels, no cross-site profiling and no cookie banner, because there is
nothing to consent to. Fonts and stylesheets are served from our own server, so
loading a page does not report your visit to anyone else.

Enquiry form. When you complete the form we receive your business name, website,
your name, email address, what the business does, and anything you write in the
message field. We use it to reply to you and, if it goes further, to build and run
your website. That is the entire purpose.

Server logs. Our web server records IP addresses, timestamps and requested pages
for security and troubleshooting. Logs are deleted after 30 days.

Analytics. TO BE COMPLETED — if privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics are in
use at launch, they are named here along with what they record. If none are in use,
this section says so.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing. We do not add
you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry. We do not run retargeting
advertising against visitors to this site.

Who else sees it

Only the suppliers needed to run the service, and only the data they need:

• Our hosting and email providers, which store enquiries and messages.
• Our payment processor, for clients who are billed — we never see or store full card
  details ourselves.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after twelve months. Records for actual
clients are kept for as long as the service runs, and then for seven years to meet
tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it — email
hello@upandbooked.com and you will get an answer
within 30 days. If you are in Australia and are not satisfied with our response, you
can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

The current version is always published here, with the date it was last updated shown
at the top of this page.
